Uttaranchal university is a private institution in Dehradun, India. After establishing itself in the offline education sector, it has expanded into the online education sector. The institution has launched its online education services to allow students to learn from the convenience of their own houses.

The Uttaranchal University has been recognised by the UGC and other statutory bodies of the State and Nation under sections 2(f) and 12(B) of the UGC Act, 1956. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has conferred the prestigious “A+ Grade” on the University. The university is governed by the Board of Governors, the Board of Management, the Planning Committee, the Academic Council, and the Finance Committee. Decentralisation and participatory management are exemplified by these organisations, which operate at the central level and include members from across the institution. These groups are in charge of the general management of the institution, including task planning and effective resource management.

Uttaranchal University Online Education is a collaborative effort across departments, faculties, and schools. The University Grants Commission, the Government of India, and numerous Government Authorities have enacted laws and policies that govern the schools.

The University’s 12 schools house students, who also dine, socialise, and live there, establishing an administrative entity known as a Faculty. The institution has a student council comprised of delegates from various schools.

The University gives all officials the authority to carry out their tasks in accordance with established norms and rules. Uttaranchal University Online Learning’s organisational structure is well-established to facilitate an effective and transparent decision-making process. Through stakeholder communication with various authorities, committees, and bodies, the organisational structure can assure the efficacy of education and society. 

The school representatives have equal voting rights with the central university authority and are an important part of the institution’s management. Administrative committees comprised of individuals from various areas are in charge of running study centres.
