LPU Distance Education (LPUDE), Jalandhar is recognized among the Top 10 Most Promising Distance Learning institutes in India for 2019 and 2020 and awarded as the Top 10 Most Promising Distance Learning Institutes in the World by Higher Education Review 2020. It has an association with Lovely Professional University (LPU). The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), the University Grants Commission-Distance Education Bureau (UGC-DEB), and others have all recognized LPUDE.

UG and PG programs in management, commerce, computer applications, the arts, and library and information sciences are all offered by LPUDE.
